A cool place to stay and sleep, a hotel with an unusual design and cosmopolitan ambience which welcomes both business guests and tourists. And of course at highly attractive prices. Hamburg's Centro Hotel Group aims to create all this with its new "NinetyNine Hotels" brand. Over the coming years the new design budget brand is to be established in lively inner-city locations and at international travel hubs. The initial contracts have already been agreed. In the spring of 2017 the building work on the first NinetyNine Hotel will be starting at the new Schönefeld airport in Berlin. The opening is scheduled for the spring of 2018.
Prestigious international hotel planners are looking not just at the optimum spatial use of the hotel rooms but also at the interaction between the hotel and its guests. Guests are to be encouraged to spend more time in the open space areas such as the lobby, the bar and the breakfast room. The spirit of the times and social interaction play a decisive role in the concept for NinetyNine Hotels. This begins with booking via a specially designed app right across to smart tablet solutions which enable guests to access and operate all hotel services. The new concept will be presented for the first time on the occasion of Expo Real, the largest trade show for real estate and investment in Europe, which starts in Munich this week.
At present Hamburg's Centro Hotel Group operates 39 hotels throughout Germany and Austria, offering a total of 2800 rooms. The group's expansion is to be continued with the Centro, FourSide and Boutique brands, together with the new budget brand NinetyNine Hotels from 2017.
