Welcome to Ulm - the city with two faces

Here you get the peculiarities of both regions in a very small space. Separated only by the Danube, it offers twice as much fun, culture and leisure activities to those seeking relaxation, city breaks and, last but not least, to guests who enjoy shopping. Simply start in the morning with a Bavarian Weißwurst breakfast, then cross the Danube into Württemberg and shop for Swabian food in the large pedestrian zone under the Ulm cathedral. Enjoy Swabian Maultaschen at lunchtime, then return across the Danube to choose Bavarian costumes or simply end the day in a typical Bavarian beer garden with a Beer. In the city centre is the imposing Ulm Cathedral, a centuries-old church in Gothic style. Its church tower offers a view of the city from which in clear weather even the Alps can be seen.
